Ruth A. Goodman

Ruth A. Goodman, 70, of Elmore, OH died Friday, November 18, 2005 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born in Hessville, OH on September 27, 1935, a daughter of Clarence & Lucille (Hummel) Lenz. She was a 1953 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. She was married to Frank Goodman on October 11, 1975 who preceded her in death in 2002. She retired as an Apartment Manager for Consolidated Management in Garfield Heights, OH in 2002. She enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Indians but loved to gamble especially the “slots”. Survivors include her daughter Debra (Steve) Dibert of Elmore, son Dean Damschroder of Bowling Green, OH, granddaughters Cindy and Nadine Dibert, step- children: Chuck (Julie) Goodman of Clyde, OH, Connie (Dave) Miller of Fremont, OH, and Suzie (Pat) Doty of Green Springs, OH, nieces and nephews: Jackie Bast, Jan Lajti, Jill Case, Jody Blausey, Sharon Gaby, Jerry and John Porath, and Tom Lenz. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother James Lenz and sister Ellen Porath. The family will receive friends from 2–9 PM Monday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Kathleen Kisner officiating. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul-Trinity United Methodist Church or Harris-Elmore Public Library.
