Ruth A. Antalik

Ruth A. Antalik, 84, of Marblehead, died Wednesday evening at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born February 21, 1922 in Danbury Township, a daughter of Alex and Amanda (Klinow) Brauer. Ruth was retired from Kukay’s Restaurant in Marblehead, after 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury and a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Post 7572 of Marblehead. Surviving are her daughter, Janet (Richard) Monak of Marblehead; son Robert (Dorothy) Antalik of Chardon, OH; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, August “Gus” Antalik, Jr.; a son, Michael; her parents, and a sister, Matie Mras. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury, where her body will lie in state from 10 am until the time of services. The Rev. Henry Seibert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury.
