Ronald S. Petersen

Ronald S. Petersen, 83, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Providence Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born July 24, 1940 in Port Clinton, the son of Ellsworth and Carol (Paysen) Petersen. Ron graduated from Port Clinton High School and was a postal carrier for the Port Clinton Post Office. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the VFW. He was previously a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610.

Surviving are his son: Daniel Petersen of Port Clinton; granddaughter: Allison Petersen and sister: Kathleen (Theodore) Zibert of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Robert Petersen; brothers: Robert Petersen and Gary Petersen.

Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Private graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
