Ronald Lee Beggs

Ronald Lee Beggs, 65, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton. He was born April 21, 1952 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Harold R. and Ruth (Bluhm) Beggs. He married Dawn Fisher on December 31, 2003 and she survives. Ron was the Environmental Services Director for Ottawa County Health Care for 25 years retiring in 2001. He was a DJ for an internet radio station, Revolutionradio2.com going by the name of "DJ Bad Dawg". He worked every Sunday from 9:00 am til noon playing praise and worship music. He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Church of Truth Ministries, Patriot Guard Riders, and enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife: Dawn; son: Quinten (Heather) Beggs of Trenton, MI; daughter: Amy (Kenny) Underwood of Ironton, OH; grandchildren: Brandon (Samantha) Mowel, Megan Brandeberry, Hailey Underwood, Marshall Underwood, Quinten Beggs, II, Madison Mills, Neveah Beggs, Wyatt Beggs, Abel Beggs and Elijah Beggs; great-granddaughter: Ava; brother: Dennis (Connie) Beggs of Bellevue, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Janice Royster. Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017 from 11:00 am 1:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday with Pastor Brian Hild officiating, and military honors being given by members of the Port Clinton VFW Post 2480 .
