Ronald E. Verhoff

Ronald E. Verhoff, 73, of Marblehead, OH died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born November 25, 1940 in Bellevue, OH the son of the late William and Helen Louise (Eckler) Verhoff. He married Kay Johnson on Feb. 18, 1977 and she survives. Mr. Verhoff worked for New Departure retiring in 1993. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He especially loved taking care of all of his pets. Surviving are his wife: Kay; daughter: Jill (Randy) Hoskins of Shelby, OH; step-sons: Rick Behlmer of Texas, Kevin (Danyell) Behlmer of Milan, OH; step-daughters: Connie (Ronald) Webert of Oak Harbor, Kelly (Phil) Weirich of Oak Harbor; brothers: William (Donna) Verhoff of Missouri, Joseph (Sally) Verhoff of Bellevue, Gerald (Jeannie) Verhoff f Sandusky, Daniel (Pamela) Verhoff of Bellevue; sister: Mary L. (James) Steele of Missouri; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son: Jeffery Verhoff. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home were visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice or Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club.
