Ronald David Johnson, Jr., 57, of Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 31, 1958 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Beverly (Canary) Johnson. He was a commercial fisherman for Swartz Fishery in Port Clinton, and he also worked construction jobs in and around Port Clinton. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Port Clinton. Besides being an avid fisherman, he enjoyed reading the bible, watching sports, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter, Cassandra (Jevin) Florio, Sandusky; mother, Beverly Wolf, Sandusky; grandchildren, Ronald Johnson-Gonzalez, Angel Florio, Jevin Florio, Jr., Danyelle Florio; sister, Kim (Mark) Wadsworth, Port Clinton; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; infant son, Ronald David Johnson, III; and brother: Terry Johnson. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, on Monday, April 4, 2016 from noon until funeral services at 1pm with Reverend Chuck Kaylor officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Cassandra or to his mother, Beverly.
