Ronald A. Sarnes Sr., 65 of Rocky Ridge, OH died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born August 12, 1946 in Toledo, OH to the late Harley O. and Elsie (Banky) Sarnes. On October 18, 1969 he married the former Susan Crawford. He retired in 1996 as an auto mechanic for Spangler Motors, Oak Harbor. Survivors include his wife Susan of Rocky Ridge, sons: Ronald A. Jr. of Oak Harbor, Lester L. Sarnes & Brian O. (Amanda) Sarnes of Rocky Ridge; daughter Rebecca (Joseph) Webb of OH; grandchildren: Tyler, Samantha, & Sarah Sarnes, Matthew & Caleb Benson, Michael & Hannah Webb. He was also preceded in death by his sister Kathy Sarnes. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm. Private Burial will be held at Elliston Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family or to a charity of the donor's choice.
