Roman Lochotzki, 84, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Center in Lakeside, Ohio. He was born on November 19, 1933 in Oak Harbor, Ohio, a son of the late Urban and Gervase (Depinet) Lochotzki. Roman was the owner and operator of Romans Sohio and Trucking until he sold the business in 1970 to Mulligan L.P. He also drove school bus for Gypsum, Port Clinton and Danbury Local Schools. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard and also a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Danbury Twp. Survivors include his daughters, Rita (David, deceased) Baumgardner, Florida, Betty (Bob) Biers, Marblehead, Jane (Sam) Margison, Big Prairie, Ohio, and Kristi (Robert) Drake, Wooster, Ohio; sons, Mike (Wanda) Lochotzki, Indiana, and Theodore (Wilma) Lochotzki, Gypsum; step-son, Robert Nissen, Toledo; 13 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sister Mary Gervase, Sylvania, Delores (Ron) Payne, Port Clinton, and Rose Mary (Richard, deceased) Rose, Port Clinton; brothers, Tony (Loretta, deceased) Lochotzki, Oak Harbor and Bernard (Barbara, deceased) Lochotzki, Port Clinton, as well as many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his three wives, Virginia (Nielsen), Mary (Sprague), and Pat (Leggett). Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 9:30 am until funeral services at 11:30 am with Pastor Christina L. Young officiating. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery.
