Roland Taylor

Roland G. Taylor, 80, of Marblehead, Ohio, died Wednesday December 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1927 in Cleveland, a son of the late Jerome & Ruth (James) Taylor. Roland was retired from the Fairhill Mental Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Navy, a member of the American Legion and attended the Grace Baptist Church, Danbury Township. Surviving are his wife Agnes (Zaucha) Taylor, whom he married on June 30, 1984; daughters, Paula Roman, Linda Berry, and Donna Jamiol; son, Scott Gross; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his sister, Jane Michalske. His parents and a brother, Gordon Taylor preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. Saturday until the time of services at 11 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church, 4650 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Danbury Township. The Rev. Peter Dodd will officiate and interment will follow at 2 P.M. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund or the Memorial Home Health and Hospice.
