Roger A. Hofacker

Roger A. Hofacker, 64, passed away June 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born October 1, 1948 in Port Clinton to Emmett and Eldamae (Balduff) Hofacker. He graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1968. He most recently worked for Port Clinton City Schools retiring in 2006. He had also worked for Lakeshore Dairy, A & P, and Englebeck Packing. He loved to travel, especially to Michigan and Pelee Island. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. He is survived by his brothers: Mark (Paulene) Hofacker of Lewis Center, OH, Paul (Luann) Hofacker of Port Clinton; sisters: Carol Jolliff of Forest, OH, Pamela (Martin) Migot of Port Clinton, Susan Brent of Port Clinton. He had many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He was preceeded in death by his parents, brother Dale Hofacker and brother-in-law John Jolliff. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 4:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 8, 2013 at Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Pastor James Lehman will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton or Edgewood Manor Nursing Center Activities Fund. The family would like to thank Edgewood Manor for their good care of Roger. He had many resident employee friends there.
