Robert W. Griffin

Robert W. Griffin, 77 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his home following a brief illness. He was born September 22, 1944 in Toledo, OH to the late Robert and Goldie (Vargo) Griffin. On February 18, 1967 he married Margie A. Harmeyer and she survives. Robert retired from the former Brush Wellman after 34 ½ years. He was a member of Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore and the 107th National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, watching the birds, flowers, and spending time with his granddaughter. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margie of Elmore; sons: Troy (Amy) Griffin of Newark, DE and Mark Griffin of Columbus, OH; 1 granddaughter Jade Griffin; and sister Shirley Damschroder of Elmore, OH. Services will begin at 11am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10am. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Bethel Church or Harris-Elmore E.M.S.
