Robert T. Beckwith, 84, of Marblehead, OH died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born July 22, 1921 in Toledo, a son of the late Harry R. and Albeana (Maisser) Beckwith. He married Mabel Werner on Feb. 29, 1938 and she survives. Mr. Beckwith was a molder for Bunting Brass and Bronze Co. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 7572, Marblehead and the AMVETS in Toledo. Surviving are his wife: Mable; son: Robert T. (Sandra) Beckwith of McClure, OH; daughters: Sandra (David) Stachowiak of Toledo, Barbara Batcha of Marblehead; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and brother John Beckwith of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Florence Genson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2005 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where the family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH at 11:30am Monday. Memorial contributions maybe given to the American Heart Association.
