Robert S. Sobolewski

Robert S. Sobolewski, 90, of Marblehead, OH peacefully passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at Edgewood Manor Healthcare Center, Port Clinton, OH, with his wife Camille by his side. He was born August 3, 1931 in Newburgh Heights, OH, the son of Barney A. and Hattie Sobolewski. Robert married Camille Stroh on July 5, 1958. Robert was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War, and was an active supporter of VFW Post 7572 in Marblehead, OH. During his career as a chemical engineer, he developed 2 Patents that revolutionized the Steel Industry, still in use today. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Surviving are his wife: Camille; daughters: Debra (Thomas) Sobolewski Smith of Oklahoma, Janice (Mark) Foraker of New Hampshire; grandchildren: Michaela Foraker, Robert Foraker; sister: Arlene Soencksen of Cleveland and nephew: Phillip (Kristi) Soencksen. Funeral services will be held at a later date with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
