Robert R.J. Fleenor

Robert J. “R.J.” Fleenor, 76, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his

home. He was born November 24, 1947 in Keokee, VA the son of Ulyss Forster and Emma Lee

(Necessary) Fleenor. He married Susan Dubbert on September 1, 1978 and she survives. R.J. was a

heavy equipment operator for Hanson Quarry in Castalia, OH. He enjoyed working on cars, drag racing,

NASCAR, hunting, gardening and being with family.

Surviving are his wife: Susan; children: Brian (Francy) Fleenor of Bellevue, OH, Nichole (Brandon) Ihnat of

Marblehead, Robert (Denise) Fleenor of Port Clinton, Rhonda (Jim St. Marie) Fleenor of Port Clinton,

Randal (Brenda) Fleenor of Genoa, Daniel Fleenor of Florida; grandchildren: Jacqueline Fleenor,

Stephanie (Devin) Van Winkle, Kristina Kohler, Jordan (Janae) Fleenor, Danielle Martin, Rayven (Mason

Asbury) Whyde, Rahlee Fleenor, Jayden Ihnat, Ava Ihnat; Followed by 10 great-grandchild He was

preceded in death by his siblings: Jennings Fleenor, Forster Fleenor, Mary Fleenor, Gary Holmes, Sr.,

Stanley Holmes, Tom Holmes, and Nadine McMurrary

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman

Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH

Interment will follow in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home

on Monday, August 5th, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Memorial contributions may be given to

Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the family. Online condolences may be
