Robert R. Krotzer, 96, of Genoa, OH, and formerly of Gibsonburg, OH, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was born in Gibsonburg on October 16, 1925, a son of the late Wayne & Clara (Bowe) Krotzer. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg. He was a former Gibsonburg police officer, volunteered his time as a Cub Scout leader, and worked for U.S. Gypsum. A Florida resident for 27 years, he was employed by Publix Super Markets while living there. On August 23, 1947, he married the former Ona Sorg, and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2013. He is survived by his sons, Rick (Connie) Krotzer, Elmore, Gerald (Connie Powell) Krotzer, Bradenton, FL; daughter, Carole (David) Krumnow, Pemberville, OH; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Krotzer, Jr., and sisters, Patricia Shull, and JoAnn Arndt. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. S.R. 51, where visitation will be after 1:00 PM Wednesday. Pastors Tim Sherman and Dean Sandwisch will officiate, and interment will follow at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore.
