Robert R. Carpenter, 51, of Oak Harbor died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born March 15, 1956 in Maple Heights, OH the son of the late Roland R. and Ila M. (Lowe) Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter was a commercial fisherman for Port Clinton Fisheries and was a member of Erie Shores Assembly of God. He was an avid weight lifter working out at Wilson’s Gym. Surviving is his sister, Karen (Jan) Cieslak of Marblehead, OH; nephews, David and Mark Owen; great-nephews, Logan and Christian Owen, and great-niece Madison Owen. Memorial services for Robert R. Carpenter and his mother, Ila M. Carpenter (Feb. 26, 1925 – March 15, 2007) will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Rd., Port Clinton.
