Robert M. Scott

Robert M. “Bob” Scott, 76, of Elmore, OH, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Otterbein Portage Valley, Pemberville, OH. He was born in Girard, OH on March 24, 1930, a son of James F. & Mae Alice (Hurst) Scott. Bob worked in the lumber business for many years, retiring in 1987. He also worked as a salesman for Tank’s Meats, Elmore. He enjoyed reading, fishing, watching TV, and traveling. Bob was a Jehovah’s Witness. He married the former Marilyn I. Shetzer on November 21, 1953, and she survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Jane Scott Phillips, Tiffin, OH, and Patty (Joe) Money, Lima, OH; sons, William Eugene (Fawnda) Scott, Perrysburg, OH, and James Franklin Scott, Elmore, OH; sister, Dorothy (John) Corkrean, Jefferson, OH; 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Steven James Scott and Gary William Scott. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore, where funeral services will be held at noon Monday. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elmore. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
