Robert M. "Pat" Collins

Robert M. "Pat" Collins, 93, of Port Clinton, OH passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born August 26, 1926 in Claiborne, TN the son of Robert M. and Hulda (Tolliver) Collins. He married Hilda Keck on November 22, 1947 and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2012. Pat was a shipping clerk for Ford Motor Company, Sandusky, OH retiring in 1987. Pat loved spending time with his grandkids, especially his great-grandkids. He enjoyed helping his family with anything they needed; from building garages to fixing anything. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Surviving are his daughter: Brenda (Herb) Stewart of Port Clinton, OH; son: Jerry (Darlene) Collins of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Sherri Bacak, Susan (Dave) Behrens, Matt (Kim) Collins, Ray (Corie) Collins; great-grandchildren: Alicia, Stephen, Caitlin, Robbie, Ryan, Kinzie; sister-in-law: Ann Collins of New Tazwell, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hilda; parents; brothers: Conda Collins, Raymond Collins; sisters: Coba Keck and Dolly Collins. Funeral services will be private at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton, OH with interment in Castalia Cemetery, Castalia, OH.
