Robert L. "Woody" Wood

Robert L. “Woody” Wood, 84, of Port Clinton passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home. He was born July 16, 1936 in Port Clinton, the son of Donald and Juanita Wood. He married Betty Lou Sarty on August 18, 1956 and she preceded him in death on August 18, 2020. Woody retired from the U. S. Postal Service and also retired from Bay Pointe. Surviving are his daughter: Dawnna (Darrell) Whiting of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Kristen Wood, Justin Whiting, Evan Whiting; great-granddaughter: Charlee Whiting; twin sister: Darlene Worz of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son: Robert L. Wood, Jr.; sisters: Shirley Bradberry, Velma Junge. There will be no services.
