Robert L. Kranz

Robert L. "R.K." Kranz, 63, of Elmore, Ohio, died Friday, June 6, 2014 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on February 24, 1951, the son of Leonard & Audrey M. (Stange) Kranz. R.K. was an independent driver, hauling steel for Globe Trucking for the last 20 years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and loved his Harley-Davidson. R.K. also enjoyed boating. He is survived by his father, Leonard "Jack" Kranz, Elmore; sister and brother-in-law, Anne & Gary Smothers, Elmore; nieces, Andrea (Brian) Minardi, Pickerington, Ohio and Melissa (Alan) Schroeder, Elmore, Ohio; great nieces, Peyton, Morgan, and Cali Mae. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Kranz. Friends may call from 1-7 P.M. Monday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. S.R. 51, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday. Pastor John Bock will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
