Robert L. “Bob” Ohm, 80, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at his home. He was born January 27, 1944 in Oak Harbor, OH the son of Wilton and Rhea Dailey Ohm. He married Caroline Russell and she preceded him in death after 56 years on January 9, 2019. Bob was a truck driver for Crown Battery in Fremont, OH and spent his retirement years as a dedicated employee for Baumann Auto Group. He had a passion for restoring old cars and trucks, completing the process, taking them to car shows, selling them and moving on to the next project. He was a member of Erie Shore Cruisers Car Club. We are thankful he was able to participate in the Annual Chamber of Commerce Car show this August, his goal of the summer!
Surviving are his sons: Tracey (Jodi) Ohm of Cicero, IN, Troy (Amy Mittan) Ohm of Fremont, Todd Ohm of Las Vegas; companion: Margaret Pauline Simpson of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Jordan Ohm, Cameron Ohm, Kelsey (Sarah Nellie Timberlake) Ohm, Ashlyn Ohm, Collin Ohm, Abby Ohm, Dustin Silva, Daisy Silva; great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Caden, Kyla, Kiara, Kaysen, and Jayce, siblings Donna (Arnie)Foss, Shirley (Martin) Riggs and sister-in-law: Dawn Valinotti of Florida. He is preceded in death by brother Dale.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at next year’s Car Show. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Back to the Wild.
