Robert F. Lipstraw

Robert F. Lipstraw, 73 of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont, OH. He was born on April 7, 1951 in Fremont, OH to the late Franklin and Mildred (Biehler) Lipstraw. He was a 1969 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1970 - 1973. On May 24, 1974 he married the former Kaye Mehlow.

Bob loved spending time with his 5 grandchildren, and watching them participate in their many activities. He also enjoyed spending his time cutting firewood, working in his shop and doing yard work. He was an active member of VFW Post 8732. He was an owner/operator truck driver for many years.

Survivors include his wife Kaye of Oak Harbor; sons: Michael (Stacey) Lipstraw of Woodville, OH and Jeffrey (Angie) Lipstraw of Graytown, OH; 5 grandchildren (Avery, Calvin, Lacey, Ryker and Ryenn); sister: Carol (Terry) Tabbert of Graytown, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Mildred Lipstraw and brother Thomas Lipstraw.

Family will receive Friends from 3-7pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Bob will be laid to rest at a private graveside service in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
