Robert E. Kihlken

Robert E. Kihlken, 70, of Marblehead, OH passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born April 19, 1949 in Gypsum, OH the son of Herbert and Murlean (Fick) Kihlken. He married Connie Ralls on July 24, 1976 and she survives. Bob was a supervisor for Ohio Department of Transportation, Ottawa County Garage retiring in 2011. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury and the Port Clinton Elks Lodge. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife: Connie; children: Callie (Kent) McConahay, Zachary Kihlken and his son Mason, Courtney (Brian Sloan) Kihlken and Brians children Brilynne and Bradley all of Marblehead; sister: Betty Alexander of Port Clinton; sister-in-law: Norma Kihlken of Port Clinton; brother-in-law: Robert Snyder of Marblehead; several nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-niece and great-great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Dale Kihlken, Jerry Kihlken; sister: Marilyn Snyder; sister-in-law: Trish Kihlken; brother-in-law: Chet Alexander. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 Church Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH.
