Robert D Hill

Robert D. “Denny” Hill, 77, of Port Clinton and formerly of Put-in-Bay passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born September 18, 1942 in Toledo, OH the son of Robert E. and Georgia (Galbraith) Hill. He married Suzanne Turvey on Feb. 14, 1966 and she survives. Denny was a Park Ranger for Ohio Department of Natural Resources working at Alum Creek State Park in Columbus and South Bass Island State Park on South Bass Island. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and an avid fisherman. Surviving are his wife: Suzanne; sons: David (Jessica) Hill of Put-in-Bay, Robert K. Hill of Put-in-Bay; grandchildren: Aaron Hill, Courtney Hill, Tyler Hill, Conner Hill, Colton Hill, Sydney Hill; great-granddaughters: Claire, Chloe; siblings: George (Pam) Hill of Camden, MI, Melvin (Beth) Michalski of Grand Rapids, MI, Mary (Carson) Coleman of Toledo, OH, Eugene Michalski of Washington. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Put-in-Bay with Mother Mary Staley officiating.
