Robert C. Cook

Robert C. Cook, 56, of Lakeside, died Thursday October 8, 2009 at Med Central Medical Center in Mansfield. He was born December 29, 1952 in Marion, Ohio, the son of Robert L and Bonnie (Glasco) Cook. Bob was a graduate of Pleasant High School in 1971 and was a proud member of the Marching Band playing the trumpet. He was employed as a custodian at Danbury High School and was a member of Firelands Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his daughter Thia (Cook) Mitchell of Lakeside and her mother Twila McKinnis of Marion; daughters Katrina Cook of Ada and Cortney Cook of Lakeside and their mother Stacie Cook of Danville; a granddaughter Aleena Mitchell; a brother David L (Lela) Cook of Marion and his "sweets" Judy Jones and her family of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 7755 East Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead. The Reverand Jeanne Gay will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cook Childrens Trust Fund, c/o the Marblehead Bank.
