Robert A. Szczech

Robert A. Szczech, 71, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away March 24, 2020 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born Feb. 4, 1949 in Newburgh Heights, OH the son of Clarence and Evelyn (Blaha) Szczech. He married Victoria (Cline) Hafemeister on July 26, 2008 and she survives. Mr. Szczech was an electrician for General Motors retiring in 2006. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Surviving are his wife: Victoria; son: Rob (Susan) Szczech of Strongsville; daughters: Michelle (Matt) Toth of Parma, Pamela (Carl) Fern of Olmsted Falls, Tina Szczech of Florida; step-son: Brian Hafemeister of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; eight grandchildren; brothers: Buddy (Martha) Szczech of Texas, Brian (Bernadette) Szczech of Florida; sister: Roseanne (Bill) Anderson of North Royalton. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter: Kristy Hafemeister.
