Rita T. Roote

Rita T. Roote, 73, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH passed away November 21,

2022 at her home. She was born May 9, 1949 in Maryland. She married

Jeff Roote on March 17, 1973 and he survives. Rita was a graduate of

Euclid High School and most recently a member of St. Joseph Catholic

Church in Marblehead, OH.

Surviving are husband Jeff; daughter: Jessica Roote of Chicago, IL;

sons: Brian (Zack) Roote of White Plains, NY, Christopher Roote of Columbus,

OH, Timothy Roote of Charlotte, NC; sisters: Mary Ellen Klune of

Lakeside-Marblehead, Shirley Mooney of Rocky River, OH; brother

Jonathon Mooney. She was preceded in death by her

parents and brothers Bruce and Richard Mooney.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm

at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service,

Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Family

prayer services will be conducted in the funeral home Tuesday,

November 29, 2022 at 9:30 am followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 am at

St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH. Interment

will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army Port Clinton
