Richard M. Macuga

Richard Michael Macuga, 86, of Lakeside-Marblehead, OH and Englewood, FL passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born July 10, 1938 in Cleveland, OH the son of Joseph and Helen (Dorko) Macuga. He married Joanne Roth on June 27, 1964. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a charter boat captain in Lake Erie operating as Reef Snooper. Previously he was a foreman in the cutting room at Joseph & Feiss Company in Cleveland. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH and St. Francis of Assisi in Grove City, FL.

Surviving are his wife: Joanne; sister: Barbara (George deceased) Weber; brother-in-law: Tony (Jackie) Roth; sister-in-law: Mary Ann (Ron deceased) Weber and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
