Richard J. Twarek

Richard J. Twarek, 61, of Oak Harbor, OH died Friday, November 1, 2024 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital following a sudden illness. Rick was born February 21, 1963 in Toledo, OH to the late Clarence “Cal” and Marjorie “Marge” (Theisen) Twarek. He was a graduate of Danbury High School. Rick retired from Ford Motor Company where he had worked as an Assembler.

Rick married Joanna Wilburn on July 3, 2008, and she survives. They enjoyed spending time together and going on car rides. They enjoyed watching sports on TV especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Browns, and any type of auto racing.

Rick is survived by his wife Joanna; children: Dustin Twarek and Bethany (Alexander) Brikmanis; step-son Chris Lochotzki; grandchildren: Aryanna King, Amelia & Leo Brikmanis, Derek & Taylee Lochotzki; sisters: Jody (John) Law and Karen (Eric) Karim; nieces and nephew Davina Marraccini, Mallory Law, and Brandon Twarek.

There will be no services as cremation has taken place under the direction of Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel.
