Richard "Dick" Steinmiller

Richard (Dick) Steinmiller of Farmington, MI, formerly of Oak Harbor, OH; Toronto, Ontario, Canada; & Livonia, MI passed away March 16, 2017 at the age of 91. He was born May 29, 1925 in Oak Harbor, OH to the late Harry & Anna Steinmiller. He was a 1943 graduate of Salem- Oak Harbor High School. He served as a corporal in the United States Army during World War II. In 1948 he married the former Betty Browder who preceded him in death November 8, 2012. Dick retired in 1990 as VP of Commercial Glass Sales. Surviving him are his daughters: Sharon Strain of Ontario, Canada, Barbara (Ron) Evich of Dansville, MI, 6 grandchildren: Jennifer (Ray), Jeremy (Kelly), Eric, Virginia, Jessica (Doug) & Kari (Jos); 7 great grandchildren: Katherine, Julia, Sawyer, Douglas, Jett, Abigail & Fynn. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Betty; son Jeffery, and his son in-law Ross. Graveside Services will begin at 11am, Saturday April 8, 2017 at Salem- Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be made in Richard's name to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
