Richard D Mowery

Richard D. Mowery, 79, of Marblehead, OH went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2017 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born July 19, 1937 in Toledo, OH the son of Robert D. and Francis (Hoffman) Mowery. Richard was the previous owner/operator of Netty's Chili Dogs in Marblehead, OH. He also previously owned and operated The Modern Printing Co. in Toledo. He was a United States Army Reserve Veteran. He was an airplane polit. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton where he served as treasurer. He was a School Bus Driver for Danbury Schools where he also volunteered as a tutor and ran the sports concession stand. He was active at the Danbury Senior Center and he enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Surviving are his brother: Robert L. Mowery of Medford, OR; nieces: Joanne Cannizzaro of Livermore, Ca and Mary Stein of El Cajon, CA and many friends and neighbors who were are part of his extended family. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Baptist Church or Camp Patmos, Kelleys Island.
