Richard A. Ohm, 70, of Port Clinton died April 24, 2008 at Cottage Cove, Oak Harbor, OH after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 5, 1938 in Fremont, OH the son of Clarence and Mary (Heisler) Ohm. He married Carol Long on Dec. 20, 1958 and she survives. Mr. Ohm worked for Ford Motor Company and he enjoyed reading and working in his yard and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Carol; sons, Rick (Sue) Ohm of Oak Harbor, Steve (Jennifer) Ohm of New Albany, OH, Chris Ohm of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Lyndsay, Erin, Justin, Ricky, Sara, Joshua and Rachel; mother, Mary Dewey of Port Clinton and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Ohm, and brothers, Marvin and Terry Ohm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Pastor Kurt Borows will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes or Stein Hospice.
