Richard A. "Dick" Greene

Richard A. "Dick" Greene, 73, of Catawba Island died Monday, May 2, 2016 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born November 29, 1942 in Sandusky, OH the son of Gilbert I. and Alvia J. (Smith) Greene. Mr. Greene worked (retired) as a plastic set-up person from Whirlpool in Clyde. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening and he previously hunted. He especially loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Surviving are his long time companion: Anita Selvey; daughters: Barbara Ann (Trent) Jackson of Muskegan Heights, MI, Brenda Lee (Hans) Bossmann of Canton, MI; sons: John A. (Anne) Greene of Fremont, OH, Richard M. Greene of Midland, MI; grandchildren: Trent Jackson, Trekesha Jackson, Raymond Jackson; brother: William "Bill" Greene of Fremont, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2016 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Pastor Steve Engle will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
