Richard A. Blausey

Richard A. Blausey, 69 of Elmore, OH died Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his home under Hospice Care. He was born April 25, 1954 in Fremont, OH to the late Emery A. “Bud” and Gladys M. (Seem) Blausey. He was a 1972 graduate of Woodmore High School. Richard retired from Toledo Jeep as a Forklift Mechanic. He was a member of S.C.R.A.P. where he would take his Jones engine.

Rick was a charter member of the Creation Museum and enjoyed discussing God’s Creation. His interest in dinosaurs was evident among any who knew him. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting in the Spring, and playing games and doing puzzles with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children: Kristy (Matt) Kohlman of Berkey, OH and Paul (Tamara) Blausey of Elmore, OH; grandchildren: Alyssa, Austin, & Ethan Kohlman and Drake & Grace Blausey; and sister Sharon (Tom) Elder of Elmore, OH.

Services will begin at 1pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, where family will receive friends beginning at 11am Friday. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
