Rayman S. Wilson, Sr., 72, of Marblehead, died Friday November 21, 2008 at his residence. He was born December 8, 1935 in Toledo, the son of Edmund and Alberta (Graham) Wilson, Sr. Ray was the owner of Wilson's Beach in Marblehead and was retired from the City of Toledo. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. Surviving are his wife Snook (Fuller) whom he married on July 13, 1957; daughters Tammi (Rich) Grueshaber of Perrysburg and Cathie (Mike) Twarek of Marblehead; sons Rayman (Sue Holmes) Wilson, Jr. and Samuel (Judy) Wilson, both of Marblehead; grandchildren Gary and Hollie Grueshaber, Russell and Kim Zura and Sammy and Gregory Wilson; seven step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren; sisters Peggy and Beverly and a special sister-in-law Dolores Eckel. His parents and a brother Edmund, Jr. preceded him in death. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Marblehead where funeral services will be at 1 pm Monday. The Rev. Brad Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Department of the Army. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marblehead Fire Department or the American Cancer Society.
