Randall K. Krieger, 79, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. He was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on January 4, 1940, a son of the late Arnold & Naomi (Wistinghausen) Krieger. A graduate of Oak Harbor High School, Randy was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. He was a master craftsman and was a proud member of Iron Workers Local #55. Randy was a former Webelos and Boy Scout leader, enjoyed boating, and was a former member of the Port Clinton Power Squadron and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Port Clinton. Randy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1962 to 1965. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and loved watching football, but most of all he loved attending his childrens and grandchildrens sporting events and spending time with his family. On April 27, 1968, he married the former Frances Jean Chio, and she survives. Also surviving are his sons, Bart (Ann) Krieger, and Brett (Terri Jo) Krieger; brother, Ronald (Marge) Krieger; and grandchildren, Amber, Kevin, & Jesse Krieger. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-7:30 PM Thursday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, where a Parish Wake service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 215 Church St., Oak Harbor. Rev. Timothy F. Ferris will officiate, and interment will follow at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Following the services, a luncheon will be held in the undercroft of the church.
