Randall G. "Randy" Goodenough

Randall G. "Randy" Goodenough, 51, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on October 17, 1961 in Kiowa, Kansas, the son of Bill and Caroline (Stienberger) Goodenough. On December 19, 1997 he married Becky Cutcher and she survives. Randy worked for Plastic FAB in Wichita, Kansas before moving to Ohio. Some of his hobbies included watching NASCAR races, doing needlepoint, especially plastic canvas, fishing, hanging out with his dog, a Norweigian Elkhound named "Buddy", and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife: Becky; mother and step-father: Caroline and Donald Haddock, Attic, Kansas; son: Edward Carr, Port Clinton; daughters: Melissa Wheeler, Toledo, Ohio; Rebecca (Todd) McKinley, Lorain, Ohio; grandchildren: Colton, Thomas, Faith & Robert McKinley; Destiny, Christopher, Anton, and Marissa Roman; Brianna, Everett, Noah, and Fisher Carr; step-son: Paul Dugan, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; step-daughter: Catherine Parmentier, Norwalk, Ohio; step-grandchildren: Amber, Makayla, and Sabrina Parmentier; brother: Kenneth (Roxanne) Goodenough, Attic, Kansas; sister: Ellen Cristes, Sharon, Kansas; and half-brothers: Mark, Matt, and James Goodenough, all of Great Bend, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from noon until memorial services at 4pm with Chaplain Brenda Hurley-Shank officiating.
