Ralph E. Engbring

October 14, 1932 — October 24, 2022

Ralph E. Engbring, 90, of Vickery and formerly of Catawba Island passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at his home. He was born October 14, 1932 in Cudahy, WI the son of Elmer C. and Irene (Marcinski) Engbring. He married Lydia Benko on June 12, 1965 and she preceded him in death on July 17, 2006. Ralph graduated from Wisconsin-Platteville University in Madison, WI and served in the United States Army from 1956-1958. He was a Foreman/Engineer for US Gypsum retiring in 1990. He was a member of The National Rifle Association; Ohio Rifle and Pistol; Oak Harbor Conservation Club and Erie County Conservation Club.

Surviving are his daughter: Tonya (Brian) Foos of Vickery and twin grandsons: Clemens and Isaac Foos of Vickery. The was preceded in death by his wife: Lydia and brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Pat Engbring.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH 43452 with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Promedica Hospice or Erie Conservation Club.
