Raedel Bowman

Raedel Bowman, 70, of Oak Harbor died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Memorial Hospital, Fremont, OH. She was born September 24, 1939 in Oak Harbor to the late Bert and Evelyn (Gluth) Cluckey. On February 10, 1956 she married Frank Bowman who preceded her in death February 19, 2003. Raedel was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, sewing and crocheting. She and her husband, Frank did much traveling, but she truly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. Survivors include her daughters: Becky (Dale) Lewis, and Beth (Roger) Brackett both of Oak Harbor; son Randall (Anna May) Bowman of Curtice, OH; sister Darleen (William) Van Der Giessen of Catawba Island, OH; grandchildren: Andy, Craig, Shaun, Alan, Zak, Jason, and Jenny; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Scott and Daniel Bowman; sisters: Marsha Finke and Gaile Schiller. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-9pm at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be 11am, Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Paul United Church of Christ with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to Make- A- Wish or to a charity of the Donor's Choice.
