Phyllis I Damschroder

Phyllis I. Damschroder, 90, of Elmore, died Friday, March 05, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 19, 1920 in Lindsey, OH the daughter of Herman and Hattie (Wagner) Burmeister. She married Marvin E. "Jack" Damschroder on Dec. 31, 1937 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1982. Mrs. Damschroder was a homemaker and she previously worked at Kruse Cleaners in Elmore. She was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Elmore, OH and a member of the Perrysburg Order of the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of several local square dancing clubs. Surviving are her daughter: Barbara (Jerry) Krueger of Strongsville, OH; son: Loren (Brenda) Damschroder of Gibsonburg; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter: Shawnna Miller; sisters: Marvel VanNess, Ruth Ragen; brothers: Roland, Carl and Albert Burmeister. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend David Nevergall at 11:00 am Monday, March 8, 2010 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Elmore. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH.
