Phillip Frederick Fehr

Phillip Frederick Fehr, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born on December 19, 1932, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Eunice (Snyder) and Herbert Fehr.
Phil was a proud graduate of Oak Harbor High School, Class of 1950. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving as a yeoman aboard the USS Charles H. Roan. Following his military service, he returned to Oak Harbor, where he married Jane (Young), on June 16, 1962. Together, they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Phil and Jane liked to play cards with friends and travel together. One of their favorite destinations was Pipestem State Park in West Virginia. Phil and Jane spent winters in Florida and later Texas, where they formed lasting friendships and cherished time with their grandsons.
Phil dedicated his career to Biro Manufacturing before enjoying a well-earned retirement. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and latch-hooker, loved working in the woods, and took great joy in attending his children’s events. A proud member of the American Legion, Phil valued camaraderie and service.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Fehr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane; his son, Mark Fehr (Nancy); his daughter, Mary Gajewski (Darrell); grandsons, Adam and Jacob Gajewski; and his sister, Linda Meilink (Robert).
Phil will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St. Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 122 Ottawa St. Oak Harbor, OH. Interment will follow in Rusha Cemetery in Carroll Township.
