Philip M. Lacer

Philip M. Lacer, 91, of Port Clinton, OH passed away peacefully Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hospice of Hamilton, Hamilton, OH. He was born June 4, 1931 in Danbury Township, the son of Morris and Estelle (Robron) Lacer. He married Verna Rose Rickner on Oct. 23, 1954 and she preceded him in death on June 15, 2022. Mr. Lacer worked at Ford Motor Co. Sandusky for 32 years and previously worked at Erie Army Depot for 10 years and farmed his farm for his whole life.

Surviving are his children: Rex A. Lacer of Milan, Victoria (Kevin O’Quinn) Laurents of Port Clinton, Vel (John) Niess of Fairfield, OH, Philip A. Lacer of Port Clinton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Jack (Sally) Minier of Catawba Island,

Skip (Kathy) Lacer of Helena, Mike (Judy) Lacer of Oak Harbor, Mary Goetz of Oak Harbor. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife: Verna.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton with visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
