Paulette M. Weirich, 81 of Oak Harbor, OH died unexpectedly Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home. She was born May 24, 1940 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Paul and Evelyn (Oglesbee) Rakosky. She was a 1958 graduate of Danbury High School. Paulette worked at Siligan Plastics for 25 years and provided in home daycare for many years. Retiring in 2016, Paulette also worked at the Dairy Queen in downtown Oak Harbor for many years. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor and for many years organized the Apple Festival Parade. She enjoyed NASCAR and Elvis Presley. Survivors include her sons: Chris (Nancy) Weirich, Phillip (Kelly) Weirich, and Steven (Jill) Weirich all of Oak Harbor; daughters: Nadine (George) Thompson of Lindsey, OH, Julie (Alex) Solis of Port Clinton, OH, and Francine (Jay) Harder of Graytown, OH; 28 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild; sister Patricia Chaffin of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her brothers Russ and Ed Rakosky. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Services will begin at 11am on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Funeral Home with burial in LaCarpe Cemetery, Erie Township. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
