Paul V. "Paulie" Glovinsky, 82, of Marblehead, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Otterbein North Shore Senior Lifestyle Choices after a lengthy illness. He was born February 14, 1929 in Marblehead, the son of Paul and Agnes (Biernot) Glovinsky. Mr. Glovinsky worked for Biro Manufacturing Company for almost forty years, retiring in 1994. He also worked twelve years for the village of Marblehead. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead where he was also an usher. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann, whom he married November 6, 1954; twin daughters Dawn and Diane; and one brother Leo Glovinsky. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Jim, Steve, John and Joe Glovinsky; two sisters, Mary Hannes and Genevieve Ontko. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 9am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay Street, Marblehead. Father David Hannes, nephew of the deceased, Father Daniel J. Ring and the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Bryan Eyman will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead. Memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein North Shore (9400 North Shore Blvd, Lakeside-Marblehead) or Stein Hospice.
