Paul N.. Krauss

Paul N. Krauss, 60, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his home in Carroll Township. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on June 30, 1952, a son of Earl & Clara (Hilchey) Krauss. Paul was a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School, Olmsted Falls, Ohio. He was a retired employee of Silgan Plastics, Port Clinton and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed playing golf. On April 19, 1996, he married the former Gloria Hemminger, and she survives. Also surviving are his sons, Jason Krauss and Scott Krauss, both of Clyde, Ohio; daughters, Sandy Lozier, Clyde, Ohio, and Nicole Weidner, Graytown, Ohio; brother, David Krauss, Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Barbara Pocsik, Austin, Texas and Judy Settipane, Parma, Ohio, and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert Krauss. The family will receive friends from Noon to 4 P.M. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday, with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating.
