Paul N. Gulau

Paul N. Gulau, 87, of Danbury Township, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born Sept. 26, 1928 in Danbury Township, the son of Norman "Painter" and Dot (French) Gulau. He married Vera Fillmore in June 26, 1948 and she preceded him in death on Aug. 6. 2009. Mr. Gulau was a heavy equipment operator for McCullough Construction. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. He enjoyed wielding, operating heavy equipment, gardening, baking, reading and following the news. Surviving are his sons: Dale (Davina) Gulau of Graytown, Mark Gulau of Gypsum; daughter: Chris Millinger of Oak Harbor; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife: Vera; daughter: Paulette Druyor-Slauterbeck; brother: George Gulau and an infant brother. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton where visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury, 541 Church Rd.
