Paul Donald Dunn

Paul Donald Dunn, 76, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday June 2, 2009 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born August 5, 1932 in Greenville, TN, the son of Afton Thomas and Mary (Ball) Dunn. On June 7, 1961 he married Frankie L. Hickman and she preceded him in death on July 4, 2007. Paul was retired from US Gypsum Company. He loved going to flea markets, woodworking, working on old cars (he built a 49 Chevy from the ground up). He enjoyed watching Clint Eastwood and John Wayne movies. Paul was a connoisseur of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Surviving are his sons Donald Dunn of Memphis TN and Mike Dunn of Oak Harbor; Daughters Kathy Lane and Alice Anthony of Memphis, Debera Dunn McGee and Sherry Dunn Witt both of Port Clinton; step daughter Pamela Cole of Fremont; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and a brother Lawrence David Dunn of Marblehead. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Nell Dunn Ryans, and brothers James, John, Sr. and Frank. Friends may call from 4 7 pm Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Friends may also call from 9 am Monday until the time of services at 11 am Monday at the East Lawn Funeral Home, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport Tenn. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
