Paul D. Harder

Paul David Harder, 53, of Gibsonburg, OH and formerly of Oak Harbor, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born January 7, 1958 in Fremont, OH to David and Caroline (Brugger) Harder. He was a 1976 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. Paul was most recently employed as a driver for DE's LP Gas in Fremont. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. He also held memberships in Fremont and Oak Harbor Young Farmers. Paul loved his gardening. Survivors include his mother Caroline A. of Gibsonburg; brothers: Kenneth (Susan) Harder of Bowling Green, OH, Melvin (Trudy) Harder of Euclid, OH, and Lyle (Donna) Harder of Bradner, OH; sister Diane (Duane) Gerwin of Gibsonburg; and 5 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father David A. Harder. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-9pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be 11am Friday, April 15, 2011 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor with the Rev. David Tinker officiating. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be given to: St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, American Kidney Foundation, or the family.
