Paul D. Gunnoe, 61, of Oak Harbor, OH died suddenly Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born in Nellis, W. Va., April 29, 1945 to the late William & Anna Gratis (Kissinger) Gunnoe. On January 23, 1964 he married the former Mary Hamblin and she survives. Paul retired from General Motors Powertrain in Toledo, OH in 2000 after 31 years of service. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 14 in Toledo and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, shooting guns, and riding motorcycles. Paul loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary of Oak Harbor, daughters: Beverly and Vicky Gunnoe both of Toledo, OH, Angela (Scott) West of Oak Harbor, OH, brother Everett Gunnoe of W. Va., sister, Francis Walker of Dearborn, MI, 10 grandchildren, 1 great- grandchild and his dog Tuffy. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bob & Bill Gunnoe. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-9pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 18, 2007. Interment will be in Roose Cemetery, Salem Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
