Paul C. Stines, Jr., 81, of Clyde, OH passed away Monday, August 30, 2021. He was born March 6, 1940 in Grundy, VA the son of Paul C. and Ruby (Bunch) Stines, Sr. He married Norma (Fry) Smith-Stines on February 14, 2001 and she preceded him in death in 2014. Paul was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Carman for Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Danbury. He enjoyed watching and reading a good Western and he liked woodworking, building many trains, cradles and yard ornaments. He could tell a good joke and was an avid Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. He loved spending time with his grandkids, especially fishing with them. He also wrote many poems. Surviving are his sons: Paul Clayton Stines, III of Port Clinton, Andrew Stines of Clearwater, FL; daughters: Crystal Chapman of Port Clinton, Carolyn Farrar of Clyde; grandchildren: Justin Chapman, Dalton (Alyscia) Chapman, Ryan Chapman, Nolan Chapman; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brothers: Bill (Leah) Stines of Clyde, Roy (Judy) Stines of Chiefland, FL and sister: Sue Blue of Palm Harbor, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother: Russ Stines, sisters: Rebecca Jane O’ Neal and Peggy Mullins. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 Church Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH where visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH. Rev.
